Prof. Tamer Samir: We are keen to participate in the "Bidaya" initiative and organize a number of events.
The Council of Benha National University held its monthly meeting chaired by Prof. Tamer Samir, the university president, with the attendance of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, president of Benha University, Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, vice president for academic affairs, Prof. Karim El-Dash, vice president for international relations, Prof. Mahmoud Shakl, vice president for employment, innovation, and entrepreneurship, program directors, the university's secretary general, and the assistant secretary.
Prof. Tamer Samir opened the session by thanking President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on behalf of the university council for his interest in uplifting society and the Egyptian individual through launching numerous initiatives aimed at building the individual in health, social, scientific, and cultural aspects, the latest of which is the "Bidaya" initiative for human development, which includes various programs, activities, and services for all ages.
The university president emphasized Benha National University's participation in the Bidaya initiative by organizing many different activities and events focused on building awareness, developing values of belonging and loyalty to the homeland, and preparing new generations capable of contributing to comprehensive development.
the president reviewed the preparations for the start of the 2024/2025 academic year, the completion of the study schedules for the programs, and the plan for student activities, stressing the need for all technical capabilities and logistical preparations in laboratories, lecture halls, and workshops to ensure the educational process runs smoothly in accordance with the needs of students.
Prof. Tamer Samir confirmed that the university is keen to provide all means of comfort for its students in a manner befitting the reputation and status of Benha National University, which aims to provide distinguished educational services for students and prepare graduates capable of competing and keeping pace with labour and Job market requirements.
