The Board of Trustees of Benha National University held its meeting chaired by Prof. Jamal Al-Saeed, with the presence of Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Kalyobiya, Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, Prof. Suhair Shaarawi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Benha National University, Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, and esteemed members of the Board.
Prof. Al-Saeed opened the session by thanking Engineer Ayman Attia, the Governor of Kalyobiya, for attending the first meeting of the Board of Trustees. He also expressed gratitude to Major General Abdel Hamid Al-Hagan, the former Governor of Kalyobiya, for his efforts and fruitful cooperation with the university during his tenure.
Prof. Jamal Al-Saeed emphasized that Benha National University is keen on providing academic programs and creating an educational environment that fosters creativity and innovation, in line with the state's direction toward establishing smart universities that operate according to the latest systems and meet the job market's requirements. He noted that the university has become an attractive institution for study, hosting many competencies and now includes eight colleges, as part of its plan to leverage all its resources and capabilities.
For his part, Engineer Ayman Attia expressed his happiness at attending the Board of Trustees meeting, reaffirming his full support for the university based on its educational role and community message. He added that the university's capabilities and scientific and research staff will be utilized in all specialties to serve and develop the industrial areas in Kalyobiya, especially in Al-Obour City.
the council approved the auditor's report and financial statements for the period from March 1, 2024, to May 31, 2024, as well as the estimated budget for the university for the academic year 2024/2025, and the number of students and new colleges that have been opened.
