As part of Benha National University's strategy to enhance international collaboration, Prof. Tamer Samir, the university president, welcomed a delegation from Guangdong Ocean University, led by Prof. Ding, the university's vice president. The delegation included deans of the Colleges of veterinary medicine and physical education, as well as the coordinator for international relations at the university. The meeting aimed to explore cooperation between the two universities in various scientific and academic fields.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Karim El-Dash, Vice President for International Relations, and Prof. Mahmoud Shakl, Vice President for Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, along with deans at the university.
Prof. Tamer Samir emphasized that the discussions focused on joint cooperation between Benha National University and Guangdong Ocean University in various scientific disciplines. He highlighted Benha University's commitment to expanding collaboration with distinguished international universities and forming educational and research partnerships, aligning with the university's policy of openness to the world. He also noted the significant development in Egyptian-Chinese relations over the past few years.
For his part, Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby expressed the importance of exploring cooperation in establishing joint academic degrees with internationally ranked universities.
Prof. Karim El-Dash presented an overview of the university, discussing its academic programs and outstanding material and human resources, along with aspects of student activities offered at the university.
Prof. Mahmoud Shakl explained the university's interest in providing professional training opportunities for graduates from the surrounding community, in collaboration with distinguished universities through joint training centers between the two institutions.
