Signing of a Cooperation Protocol between Benha National University and Wuhan University for Training Medical and Dental Students

Benha National University has signed a cooperation protocol with Wuhan University, which includes providing training opportunities for a full month in the hospitals of Wuhan University for outstanding students from the College of Medicine and the College of Dentistry at Benha University.

Prof. Tamer Samir explained that this collaboration between the two universities is a distinguished achievement added to the university's record, as Wuhan University is one of the prestigious Chinese universities that ranks among the top 5 out of 900 universities in China, in addition to being among the top 150 universities worldwide. He noted that it has three major university hospitals, along with a globally ranked dental hospital.

He continued by stating that the university is keen to enhance its partnerships with various global universities to help its students experience diverse educational and training environments, equipping them with international skills that qualify them to work in global settings. He regarded international partnerships between universities as a gateway to better education, more impactful research, and prestigious training opportunities for students.

Prof. Karim El-Dash, Vice President of Benha National University for International Relations, indicated that the university is committed to strengthening its international partnerships with prestigious universities, as this provides an opportunity for exchanging experiences and knowledge, enriching the academic environment. He clarified that the travel of outstanding students for training at Wuhan University will have a positive impact on broadening their academic, research, and cultural horizons.

Prof. El-Dash considered that partnerships with global universities enhance academic exchange, provide opportunities for student exchange, and contribute to the development of scientific research, as well as preparing students for the global job market.

Wuhan University is one of the ancient Chinese universities, established in 1893, with a student population of 60,000, including three thousand international students from various nationalities, and it ranks highly in global classifications.
