Benha National University Hosted the Engineering Studies Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities

Benha National University hosted the 17th session of the Engineering Studies Sector Committee meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities, marking the final session of the current legislative term.

The committee convened under the auspices and presence of :

  • Gamal El-Saeed, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Benha National University,
  • Soheir Shaarawy, Vice Chair of the Board,
  • Tamer Samir, President of the University, and
  • The Vice Presidents of the University, who welcomed the committee members led by Mohamed Abdel-Hamid Shaeera, Chairman of the Engineering Sector Committee, Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Karim Salehin, Secretary of the Sector Committee, and the deans of engineering faculties across Egypt.

Prof. Gamal El-Saeed welcomed the engineering sector committee members to the university, highlighting the important role of private universities in providing exceptional educational opportunities for students through specialized programs that meet the requirements of the labor market and future jobs in various sectors. He emphasized the university's commitment to keeping pace with developments in all engineering fields and fostering collaboration with all engineering faculties in Egyptian universities.

Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, presented an introductory overview of the university and its various academic programs, outlining the key facilities available and the university's ongoing efforts to support and develop student capabilities in all areas.

Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Hamid Shaeera, Chairman of the Engineering Sector Committee, noted that Benha National University is a distinguished institution that adds value to higher education. He stated that the Board of Trustees and university leadership are committed to completing the necessary components for continued development and modernization while reviewing performance.

At the end of the meeting, the committee was taken on a tour to explore the university's facilities firsthand.
