"Electronic Testing System" ... Workshop at Benha National University

Under the auspices of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, and as part of the university's plan to develop the educational process and enhance the use of modern technology, Benha National University organized its first interactive workshop on the electronic testing system titled "Electronic Grading." The workshop was attended by:

  • Hussein Al-Maghrabi, Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs,
  • Shadi Al-Mashad, Dean of Computer Science College and Advisor to the President of the University for Digital Transformation and Smart Governance,
  • Along with several Colleges Deans and
  • A selection of Colleges members and their assistants.

The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with the latest technologies and methods used in electronic grading systems and how to implement them to improve the accuracy and efficiency of evaluation and examination processes. It also included training sessions and practical demonstrations on using the electronic grading application.

Prof. Hussein Al-Maghrabi emphasized the importance of keeping pace with technological advancements in education, noting that electronic grading represents a step towards achieving transparency and fairness in student assessment, as well as reducing the effort and time spent on traditional grading processes. He highlighted the university's full support for the digital transformation agenda aimed at becoming a smart university.

Prof. Shadi Al-Mashad added that "electronic grading" is not just a tool to facilitate work; it is an integrated system that contributes to providing a more effective educational experience. By applying these systems, we can ensure fair and accurate assessment of students, thereby enhancing the quality of education at the university. He stressed the necessity of training academic staff on using these technologies to achieve the desired goals.

Participants in the workshop praised the university's efforts to enhance the digital and technological capabilities of academic and administrative staff, noting that such events contribute to improving the quality of education and enhancing the student learning experience.

A Present at the workshop was given by:

  • Nermine Amin, Director of the Information Technology Department,
  • Fatima Al-Qanawi, and
  • Mohamed Ali

from the Information Technology Department, who showcased the application practically through real examples.

This workshop is part of a series of initiatives and programs organized by Benha National University to promote innovation and the use of technology.
