For Their Outstanding Contributions: The Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces Honored the Leaders of Benha National University

The Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces honored:

  • Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University,
  • Hussein El Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and
  • Mohamed Said Abdel Ghafar, the university's engineering consultant,

in the presence of Major General Engineer Haitham Zaki, Assistant Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for National Projects.

This honor comes in recognition of the distinguished contributions of the university leaders in achieving the highest rates of completion in the implementation of the Benha National University project, which is considered a pioneering educational institution. The achievements included the completion of construction works for educational buildings and workshops, as well as finishing the preparations according to the best quality standards and highest technical specifications.

Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, expressed his pride in the achievements made possible by the close cooperation between the university and the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces. He pointed out that Benha National University is a distinguished national project representing an exemplary model for fourth-generation universities that seek to provide modern and innovative education.

Prof. Tamer Samir emphasized the university's commitment to achieving sustainable development goals and providing innovative solutions to societal issues, focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship, and integrating education and scientific research with practical application.

Prof. Hussein El Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, added that the university has become a model in the higher education sector due to its advanced design and facilities that meet the best global standards, noting that the university offers a distinguished range of programs that meet labor market requirements.

Prof. Mohamed Said Abdel Ghafar, the university's engineering consultant, confirmed that this achievement came due to the significant support provided by the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, along with careful planning and professional execution from all concerned parties.

It is worth noting that Benha National University was established under the directives of the political leadership in the city of Obour, covering an area of 40 acres, according to the standards of fourth-generation universities. The university includes several buildings, including administrative and academic buildings, laboratories, workshops, sports fields, and recreational areas.

The university also offers a distinguished range of modern and unconventional study programs that align with labor market requirements, aiming to prepare outstanding graduates capable of competing locally, regionally, and internationally.
