Cooperation Protocol between Benha National University and the Egyptian Banking Institute

Under the auspices of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, Prof. Mahmoud Shakal, Vice President for Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, and Mrs. Zainab Abdelrazek, Head of Business Development, International Cooperation, and Training Implementation at the Egyptian Banking Institute, signed a cooperation protocol between the two parties.

This took place in the presence of Prof. Shadi El-Mashad, Dean of Computer Science College, Prof. Doaa Aql, Dean of Economics and Business Administration College, Prof. Sherif Abou El-Saadat, Dean of Visual Arts and Design College, and Mr. Mohamed Youssef, Director of Business Development at the Egyptian Banking Institute.

Prof. Tamer Samir confirmed that the protocol comes within the framework of Benha National University’s commitment to enhancing cooperation between academic institutions and various entities, aligning with the state’s strategic plan aimed at training and qualifying university students for the labor market.

Prof. Tamer Samir also highlighted the university's interest in preparing graduates capable of competing in the labor market both locally and internationally, and in developing qualified personnel that contribute to the advancement of various sectors in line with Egypt's Vision 2030.

Prof. Mahmoud Shakal explained that the protocol reflects the university's commitment to providing exceptional practical training opportunities for its students in order to keep pace with global technological advancements. He emphasized the importance of guiding students towards the right path and assisting them in securing practical training opportunities, reinforcing the significance of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Mrs. Zainab Abdelrazek affirmed the full commitment to collaborating with the university, linking training to employment, and providing job opportunities for graduates. She noted that the protocol will significantly contribute to qualifying distinguished personnel for integration into the Egyptian and international labor markets.

It is worth mentioning that the protocol aims to qualify and train students for work in the banking sector, develop training programs and workshops focused on entrepreneurship for starting productive projects, in addition to financial literacy, providing evaluation services through the latest assessment tools and modern technologies, and cooperating in initiatives and employment forums between the institute and the university.
