In Collaboration with the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation: Benha National University Organized a Training Program on "Strategic Planning for Higher Education Institutions"

Benha National University, in collaboration with the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, organized a training program titled “Strategic Planning for Higher Education Institutions.” This initiative was under the auspices of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of the University, and Prof. Hussein El Maghraby, Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, with the course coordinator being Prof. Fatma Abdel Wahab, Supervisor of the Strategic Planning Office at the Quality Assurance Center of the University. This effort is part of the university's continuous endeavors to enhance institutional performance and improve the quality of education.

The training course, delivered by Prof. Talaat Mohamed Meiz, an accredited trainer with the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, covered key topics including: the concept of strategic planning for higher education institutions, environmental analysis, formulating vision and mission statements, defining strategic goals and objectives, as well as reviewing the main challenges facing the implementation of strategic plans and the mechanisms for executing them through operational plans and measurable performance indicators.

The course also included practical workshops focusing on how to prepare the strategic plan for Benha National University and its programs, contributing to enhancing its competitiveness and achieving its future vision.

Prof. Tamer Samir emphasized that the university places great importance on qualifying its academic and administrative staff according to quality and accreditation standards, noting that this course is an important step in establishing a culture of strategic planning within the university. He affirmed that “proper planning is the cornerstone of institutional success.”
