Benha National University Concluded Military and National Education Courses to Strengthen Values of Discipline and Belonging

Benha National University has concluded the 49th Military Education Course with the participation of 147 male students, and the 4th National Education Course targeting 215 female students from various faculties. The events were held under the patronage of Prof. Tamer Samir, University President, in collaboration with the Popular and Military Defense Forces Command.

Prof. Tamer Samir emphasized the university’s strong commitment to military and national education programs as integral components of student development. He stated that these programs are not merely graduation requirements but aim to cultivate youth awareness, enhance discipline and responsibility, and shape well-rounded university personalities.

Prof. Hussein Al-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, highlighted that these courses complement the educational process by preparing a generation conscious of national issues, capable of confronting challenges, and actively contributing to societal development.

The courses featured:

  • Awareness lectureson topics such as national security, national identity, and the risks of fourth-generation warfare.
  • Practical trainingfocused on improving physical fitness, discipline, and endurance.

Participating students praised the experience, noting its role in solidifying national belonging and enhancing leadership and personal skills.

The programs were supervised by Colonel Mohamed Sayed Metwally and Colonel Hazem Nabil Abdel Moneim from the Popular and Military Defense Forces Command. They emphasized the leadership’s dedication to implementing the courses using modern educational and training methods, aligning with Egypt’s strategy to build a resilient citizenry under Egypt Vision 2030 and sustainable development goals.
