Meeting of Benha National University Leadership with Student Union to Discuss Implementation of Student Activities Plan for the New Academic Year

Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, held an expanded meeting with the University’s Student Union Council for the new academic year to discuss the implementation of student activity plans during the academic year.

The meeting was attended by:

Prof. Hussein Al-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs,

Prof. Khaled Al-Esawi, Advisor to the University President for Student Activities, and several directors of academic programs at the university.

Prof. Tamer Samir emphasized that Benha National University spares no effort in supporting its students and providing all avenues for their success and excellence. He noted that the university places great importance on student activities as an integral part of the higher education system, contributing to the development of students' skills, refining their personalities, and enhancing their sense of national belonging.

The University President added that the administration is keen to empower and support the Student Union in implementing its programs and plans, stressing that the Union represents the students' voice and is a key partner in the educational process and university activities. He affirmed that the university always strives to provide an environment that fosters creativity and positive participation.

Prof. Hussein Al-Maghraby reviewed all forms of support and cooperation provided by the university to students and their Union, whether through participation in internal and external events and activities or by providing logistical and academic resources to ensure optimal implementation of student plans and programs. He emphasized the university’s support for all initiatives that expand student participation and strengthen leadership spirit and belonging among students.

Prof. Khaled Al-Esawi, Advisor to the University President for Student Activities, urged Union members to work as one team and present innovative ideas that align with the university’s mission and fulfill student aspirations.

In his remarks, Mohamed Qoshty, President of the Benha National University Student Union, expressed his sincere gratitude to the university administration under Prof. Tamer Samir for its continuous support of the Student Union, stressing that this support reflects the university’s belief in the youth’s role in shaping the future.

Qoshty noted that the Union plans to implement an ambitious and diverse program of cultural, sports, artistic, and volunteer activities to develop students’ skills and enhance their sense of belonging and active participation within the university.

Mark Nagy, Vice President of the University Student Union, affirmed that the upcoming phase will witness close collaboration between all Union committees and the university administration to implement purposeful student programs that serve their peers. He added that the Benha National University Student Union operates with a team spirit and ensures its activities are inclusive and impactful, reflecting the ambitions of university youth and aligning with the university’s vision of preparing a generation capable of creativity and contribution.

The meeting concluded with an open dialogue session where the University President listened to proposals and ideas from Union members, reiterating the university’s commitment to addressing all challenges and obstacles to ensure the successful implementation of their comprehensive student activity plan.

Attendees emphasized that this meeting marked a strong launch for the Student Union’s work in the new academic year, reflecting the university’s dedication to supporting students as the core of the educational process and partners in shaping the university’s future.
