In line with Benha National University's commitment to supporting students and promoting athletic excellence—under the auspices of Prof. Tamer Samir, University President; Prof. Hussein Al-Maghrabi, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and supervised by Prof. Khaled Essawi, Advisor to the President for Student Activities—the university participated in the 53rd Al-Shahid Al-Rifai Speedball Championship. The event was held at Cairo University's indoor hall, featuring 23 governmental, private, national universities, and higher institutes from across Egypt.
On the first day of competitions, student Khadija Mohsen Abdel Wahab El-Tahawy achieved a remarkable milestone by securing second place in the women's solo category amid intense competition.
