Benha National University Launches Training Program to Qualify Its Staff for International ISO Certifications

Benha National University has launched a specialized training program aimed at enhancing institutional performance, in a strategic step designed to prepare the University for obtaining a set of internationally recognized ISO certifications in modern management systems, environmental management, and occupational health and safety.

Dr. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, stated that the program comes in implementation of the University’s vision to adopt global best practices. He explained that the initiative aims to elevate the quality of educational and administrative services and strengthen the University’s competitiveness at both the local and international levels, in line with the principles of sustainability and comprehensive quality.

Key Focus Areas of the Training Program:

The program is designed to equip academic and administrative staff to align with the following international standards:

  1. Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015): to ensure excellence in the services provided.
  2. Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015): to promote sustainability principles and environmental responsibility.
  3. Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001:2018): to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all.

The program also includes a series of practical workshops and lectures delivered by a select group of experts, with the aim of embedding a strong culture of quality across the University’s various sectors and enabling staff members to effectively apply these standards in their daily responsibilities.
