Benha National University has signed a series of cooperation agreements with leading industrial companies as part of its continued efforts to strengthen industry partnerships and enhance practical learning opportunities for students. The agreements were signed by Prof. Mahmoud Shakal, Vice President for Employment, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, under the leadership of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University.
The agreements were concluded with Chem Tech Group, specializing in engineering and the manufacture of scientific laboratory and lecture hall equipment; Sera Group, specializing in engineering and manufacturing; and GCP, a manufacturer of ductile iron pipes. The signing ceremony was attended by a number of Program Directors, together with representatives of the partner companies.
The agreements establish a framework for cooperation in practical training, the exchange of academic and professional expertise, applied research, industrial collaboration, and the development of joint projects. They also seek to expand internship and employment opportunities for Benha National University students and graduates while preparing highly qualified graduates equipped to meet the evolving needs of the labor market.
Prof. Tamer Samir noted that expanding partnerships with leading industrial organizations remains a strategic priority for Benha National University. He emphasized that stronger collaboration between higher education and industry plays a vital role in preparing graduates with the knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required to succeed in today's labor market while supporting Egypt's sustainable development priorities.
Prof. Mahmoud Shakal stated that the agreements represent another step in strengthening the University's collaboration with the industrial sector. He noted that these partnerships will provide students with valuable practical experience, encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, and enhance graduate employability by creating stronger connections between academic learning and industry.
