Benha National University has extended the application deadline for equivalent transfers to its academic programs for the 2026–2027 Academic Year. Applications will now be accepted through Tuesday, 14 July 2026, for the following faculties:
- Faculty of Medicine
- Faculty of Dentistry
- Faculty of Physical Therapy
- Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
- Faculty of Engineering
- Faculty of Computer Science
- Faculty of Economics and Business Administration
- Faculty of Visual Arts and Design
- Faculty of Energy Sciences
Application Procedure
Applications must be submitted in person to the Student Affairs Office, Building E, Benha National University, Obour City.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Meet the minimum admission requirements for the faculty they wish to transfer to in the year they obtained their secondary school certificate or its equivalent.
- Have successfully completed at least one full academic year at their current institution.
- Complete all transfer procedures before the beginning of the semester for which the transfer is requested.
- Have no record of disciplinary action or dismissal from their current university.
- Achieve a minimum grade of 60% in any course requested for credit transfer.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 2.0.
- Transfer no more than 50% of the total credit hours required for graduation from outside Benha National University.
- Have a minimum remaining period of study of:
- Three academic years for programs with a duration exceeding four years.
- Two academic years for four-year programs.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit:
- A copy of the secondary school certificate or its equivalent.
- An official academic transcript authenticated by the Council of National Universities.
- Official course descriptions for all courses requested for credit transfer, certified by the current university.
- Formal approval for the transfer from the current university.
- A certificate of good conduct.
- A copy of the applicant's National ID card.
Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of EGP 1,500 is payable upon submission.
Important Information
Transfer applications will be considered only after the completion and approval of the academic credit evaluation process by the President of Benha National University and following the approval of the Council of Private and National Universities.
