Benha National University Organizes Advanced Scientific Seminar in Collaboration with the University of Lille

Benha National University's Center for Research, Development and Innovation in Converging Sciences and Emerging Technologies (CoSET), in collaboration with the Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnology at the University of Lille, France, is organizing an advanced scientific seminar spanning physics, engineering, and applied mathematics.

The seminar is organized with the support of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, and Prof. Mahmoud Sakr, University Advisor for Scientific Research and Innovation.

The seminar will be delivered by Prof. Hosni El-Wahsh, Visiting Professor with CoSET's Applied Mathematics and Algorithms Group, under the title: “Engineering Extreme Localization: Bound States in the Continuum and Tunable Resonances in Mesoscopic Structures”

The session will explore advanced scientific concepts related to extreme localization phenomena, bound states in the continuum, and tunable resonances in mesoscopic structures, providing a platform for specialized scientific discussion at the intersection of physics, engineering, and applied mathematics.

The session will be moderated by Prof. Abdelatif Akjouj, Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Lille, France.
