As part of Benha National University’s commitment to supporting new students and helping them prepare for the 2026/2027 academic year, the University will administer the English Language Placement Test (Versant) to all newly admitted students across its faculties.
Test Schedule
The English Language Placement Test will be administered starting Tuesday, September 1, 2026, according to the appointment booked in advance by each student.
Test Venue
The test will be conducted in the computer labs at Building (F) - Gate 8.
Students are required to arrive at the test venue at least 30 minutes before their scheduled appointment.
The test is designed to assess students’ actual English language proficiency and help the University identify their academic needs and provide appropriate support.
Important Notice
Please note that the English Language Placement Test has no bearing on a student’s admission to the University or enrollment in their faculty. It is a University requirement that all students are required to complete.
The University uses a placement assessment provided by Pearson, a leading global provider of educational assessment and testing, to ensure an objective and reliable evaluation of students’ English language proficiency.
How to Book Your Test Appointment
All new students are required to access the Student Services Portal and select an available appointment for the placement test. The test will be administered electronically at the scheduled time.
