First: Excellence Grants
- Excellence grants for newly admitted students at First Year (2023/2024):
A full scholarship is awarded to five students from each college of the university for those who are among the top 300 students in each division of the Egyptian General Secondary School for the same year of enrollment. - Excellence grants for students during their university studies in the following year (starting in Second Year)
The top five students from each college receive discounts according to the following percentages:
- First: 25% discount.
- Second: 20% discount.
- Third: 15% discount.
- Fourth and Fifth: 10% discount.
The overall grade must not be less than 90%, and the number of grants is determined according to the density of student numbers in the college as follows:
- From 300 to 500 students in the cohort: 5 students receive the grant.
- From 100 to 300 students in the cohort: 3 students receive the grant.
- Fewer than 100 students in the cohort: 1 student receives the grant.
- Sports Excellence Grants in the following year:
- A student who wins a medal in international competitions receives a discount as follows:
Gold Medal 70% Silver Medal 50% Bronze Medal 25% - A student who wins a medal in Arab and African competitions receives a discount as follows:
Gold Medal 30% Silver Medal 20% Bronze Medal 10%
- A student who wins a medal in international competitions receives a discount as follows:
Grants for Distinguished and Creative Students:
Distinguished and creative students in scientific research and various fields are granted a discount percentage approved by the university council, which specifies the percentage and timing for benefiting from it.
Second: Tuition Fee Reductions:
- Sons of martyrs (from the armed forces, police, and medical staff) receive a 50% reduction in tuition fees, continuing as long as the student passes all registered courses in the academic year, including the summer semester.
- Second-degree relatives (siblings) receive a 10% reduction for a student enrolling while their sibling is still a student at the university, applicable to only one sibling.
- Sons of College members and staff working full-time at Benha National University and Governmental Universities receive a 20% reduction.
- Students with disabilities receive a discount equivalent to their disability percentage, provided they obtain a comprehensive services card indicating their disability percentage.
Third: Social Support
The university president, based on the recommendation of the vice president for academic affairs, may grant a student who has lost a family member during their studies and whose financial situation has been affected a reduction in tuition fees ranging from 5% to 25%, determined by the president according to the student's circumstances.
General Rules
- Grants and discounts apply only to Egyptian students.
- Discounts apply only to tuition fees and do not apply to administrative fees or any other amounts collected from the student under any name.
- Excellence grants, whether academic or athletic, apply in the following year.
- It is not permissible to combine more than one grant; if a student meets the conditions for more than one grant, they may benefit from only the highest grant.
- Grants or discounts are not applied retroactively under any circumstances.
